Welcome to TapDemy (“we,” “our,” “us”).
By accessing or using any part of the TapDemy platform—including our website, booking tools, dashboards, mobile interface, and TapDemy Academy—you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform immediately.

TapDemy is owned and operated by TapDemy Technologies / 2645953 Alberta Inc., Canada.

2. About TapDemy

TapDemy provides digital tools for self-employed individuals and small businesses, including:

  • Online booking systems

  • Customer management

  • Service dashboards

  • Payment integration

  • Digital forms

  • TapDemy Academy training & certification system

TapDemy is NOT an employer, agency, or service provider.
We do not hire technicians, freelancers, or instructors.
We only provide software.

3. User Eligibility

To use TapDemy, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have legal capacity to enter a contract

  • Use the Platform in compliance with local laws

  • Provide accurate information for registration

We may refuse or terminate access at our discretion.

4. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account:

  • You must provide correct, updated information

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password

  • You must notify us of unauthorized access

  • You agree not to share your account with other people

TapDemy is not responsible for any loss resulting from improper account management.

5. Permitted Use of the Platform

You may use TapDemy for:

  • Creating booking pages and accepting appointments

  • Managing customer information

  • Accessing training programs

  • Processing payments through supported gateways

  • Personal or business use in compliance with law

You may NOT use TapDemy for:

  • Fraudulent or illegal activities

  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages

  • Attempting to hack, damage, or disrupt the system

  • Copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering the software

  • Misusing booking or customer data

  • Uploading harmful or copyrighted materials without permission

Violation may result in immediate termination.

6. Independent Contractor Status (For Providers)

If you are a service provider using TapDemy, you acknowledge that:

  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee of TapDemy

  • You are responsible for:

    • Your business, taxes, and licenses

    • Your service quality and safety

    • Customer interactions and disputes

    • Setting your own prices

    • Compliance with local regulations

TapDemy is not liable for your actions or services.

7. Payment & Billing

TapDemy offers free and paid subscription plans.
By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees

  • Allow auto-renewal unless canceled

  • Use legitimate payment methods

  • Understand that subscription fees are non-refundable, unless required by law

TapDemy uses third-party payment processors like Stripe.
TapDemy is not responsible for:

  • Failed payments

  • Chargebacks

  • Processing errors

  • Bank or card issues

8. Use of TapDemy Academy

When you use TapDemy Academy, you agree that:

  • Training content is for education only

  • Certification does not guarantee employment

  • TapDemy is not responsible for licensing or regulation in your region

We may update, remove, or add courses without notice.

9. User Content

You may upload content such as:

  • Text

  • Images

  • Service information

  • Documents

  • Training submissions

  • Branding elements

You agree that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it

  • Your content does not violate any law or copyright

  • TapDemy is granted a license to store, display, and process your content to operate the platform

Unacceptable content may be removed without notice.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using TapDemy, you consent to our collection, storage, and processing of your information.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Platform Availability

TapDemy aims for uninterrupted service but does not guarantee:

  • No downtime

  • No errors or bugs

  • Continuous availability

We may suspend or limit access for:

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Security reasons

  • System overload

  • Legal requirements

TapDemy is not responsible for any resulting losses.

12. Third-Party Services

TapDemy integrates with external services such as:

  • Stripe

  • SMS/email providers

  • Cloud hosting

  • Analytics tools

We are not responsible for failures, errors, or policies of third-party services.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • TapDemy is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties

  • TapDemy is not liable for:

    • Provider misconduct

    • Customer actions

    • Service outcomes

    • Personal injury

    • Financial losses

    • Data loss

    • Technical failures

    • Payment issues

Users assume all risks associated with their use of the Platform.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TapDemy harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform

  • Your services or business activities

  • Your uploaded content

  • Your violation of these Terms

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if you:

  • Violate the Terms

  • Engage in fraud

  • Harm TapDemy or other users

  • Misuse the Platform

You may stop using TapDemy at any time.
Subscription fees will not be refunded.

16. Changes to Terms

TapDemy may update these Terms at any time.
We will update the “Last Updated” date and may notify users where appropriate.

Using TapDemy after changes means you accept the new Terms.

17. Governing Law

For Canadian users → Governed by Alberta provincial law and Canadian federal law.
For U.S. users → Governed by applicable state and federal laws.
For all other regions → Your local laws apply.

Any disputes must be resolved in the applicable courts.
